Humans require attention. The attention we get can come in many forms and those forms can be good or bad. Do we sympathize? Do we praise a good deed? Do we punish? The attention cravers will take it anyway they can get it. Be careful how you give attention to someone. Your sympathetic ear to someones issues may not be what they need. Usually the attention craver needs a good kick in the butt.
